Just moved to London from overseas and trying to figure out how to register with the NHS. I have heard you need to find a GP near where you live but the process is confusing. Do I just walk in or do I need to register online first? What documents do I need? Also wondering how long it takes to actually get an appointment once registered. I have a prescription I need to renew so this is fairly urgent. Any advice from people who have been through this recently?
