I've been wandering through the cobbled streets of Bath, and it's been a quiet kind of magic. The city has this way of making you slow down, even if just for a little while. There's something about the way the light hits the white limestone buildings that feels like stepping into a storybook.

I spent the morning in the Roman Baths, not just for the history but for the stillness. It's strange how a place built over 2,000 years ago can feel so alive. You can almost hear the echoes of people who came before, splashing in the same waters, seeking healing or just a moment of peace.

Later, I wandered through the Pump Room, where the air is always thick with the scent of lavender and the sound of soft conversation. It's one of those places that makes you want to sit for a while, maybe with a cup of tea and a book, and just watch the world go by.

What I love most about Bath is how it balances the old with the new. There are modern cafes tucked between centuries-old buildings, and artists painting on the streets while the city's past whispers from every corner. It doesn't shout its history; it carries it gently, like an old friend.

I haven't seen much of the city yet, but what I have seen has already left a mark. There's a calm here that's easy to get lost in, and I'm not sure I want to find my way out just yet.
